Dog
Dogs are a very popular house pet but they are not always the best things for our garden. Whether you are looking to keep your own dog out of some parts of the garden or keep the neighbor’s dog out, there are many natural and organic methods to do this. Let’s take a look at a few.
Chili Pepper
This is one of the most common and most effective dog repellents. It is what you will commonly find in the commercial organic dog repellents. The capsicum in the pepper will irritate the skin of the dog, particularly the sensitive area in and around the nose. The irritation will deter the dog from returning to the area. Common chili pepper powder sprinkled around the area will help repel all dogs. » more Natural Homemade Dog Repellents

SIMPLE TRAPS
Most stray birds I have seen are lost, injured or flown out racing pigeons and are accustomed to living and sleeping in a loft. A stray will look for a building to spend the night.

Cardboard box
If you have a shed or a garage and leave the door open the chances are good that the bird will enter it and can be fairly easily caught after dark. The traps shown are another way to catch the bird.
As a kid I used a simple trap made from a cardboard box, a stick and string. It’s cheap to make and effective.
For a couple of days before trying to trap the bird put a little grain where the bird can see it. After he starts to eat there the trap can be put in place. Stay close by so the bird will become accustomed to your being there while it eats. » more Home made pigeon traps
People who love to watch birds or hear their songs each morning might wonder why bird repellent is even necessary. After all, birds are beautiful and graceful creatures. But when they gather in places they’re not welcome, they become pests we’d rather admire from afar. Pigeon droppings can quickly turn a statue or ledge into a disgusting mess. Your berry patch or other growing fruit might not offer enough to make a single pie if the birds get to it first.

Pigeon
And woodpeckers can damage your wooden outbuildings or the siding on your home while searching for food. Federal laws protect most birds, and most people don’t want to kill birds anyway; they just don’t want the birds doing damage to their property. Fortunately, you have options like bird repellent to help you solve this problem.
Homemade Bird Repellent
One way to scare birds and keep them from landing is to hang up aluminum pie tins, strips of aluminum foil, old CDs or anything bright and reflective where the birds typically gather. The sun reflects off the shiny surfaces of this homemade bird repellent, and it’s these flashes that frighten birds. » more Bird Repellent

Gnats
Gnats are small flying insects that are simply annoying. They tend to hover in front of your face or sometimes fly on top of your head. This is so because they are attracted to carbon dioxide. Gnats are usually light-colored or tan, about 1/8 of an inch in length and are otherwise known as fruit flies. These type of flies likes to hang on warm and moist places where they can breed and easily get food. Their numbers usually peaks during the summer and they tend to multiply very rapidly. You can often see them buzzing around garbage bins, rotten fruits and vegetables, drainage pipes, or saturated house plants. To get rid of these tiny whirring pests, apply the following tips.
Step 1
Do the vinegar trap. Prepare an old plastic bottle and poke holes on its cap. Put some vinegar on the bottle but do not fill it up all the way. Leave a little bit of space to where the gnats can accumulate. » more How to Repel Gnats
